Q: Is BIU a real school?

A: This is like the fake boob test. If you can see them and touch them, aren't they real enough? In a classical sense, we are a real school. The purpose of a school is to offer knowledge. Now, are we up to the standards of any 'REAL' college? We are not. Still, considering so many people gain their degrees from diploma mills and alternative learning schools, BIU is somewhat real. In a real sense, we are better thsn some of those, because we are free.


Q: Are your diplomas worth anything?

A: Define worth? It it is important to you, then it is worth something. If framing a sheet of paper makes you feel better as a person, then yes, it is worth something. On the other hand, only a fool would take one of our diplomas to his/her job or to an interview in order to gain compensation because of it. Our programs are for fun and personal growth only. They are not intended for jobs or licensure. Please, don't go to jail over stupidity.


Q: When I surf the net, I like to view a lot of pictures of naked women and stuff likethat. Why doesn't BIU publish those things on this web site? Don't you think you'dbe a lot more popular?

A: Wow! That's a tough one! Whenever we get a hard question like this, we go directly to Dr. Berkley for the answer. He told us that BIU was, in fact, planning to do just that. He was a little more vague on a time frame, but he did state that it would happen around the time when 'Hell freezes over.' To get a handle on when that might occur, we asked BIU Professor Hazel Losh who said that her best estimate for Hell freezing over would be 'sometime after the Starship Enterprise returned from Mr. Spock's funeral.' We hope that answers your question.


Q: My diploma will not print properly. Can you help?

A: Check your printer settings. Once good thing about our diplomas, they are in PDF format. Because of this, they should print on both MAC and Windows computers. Again, check your printer settings and make sure they are set for landscape. In most cases, they will print fine automatically.


Q: Do you have any suggestions for printing my diploma?

A. Like all things, material are the key. Use a good printer and paper and you will get a better diploma. If you have a color laser and some good parchment paper, you can make these look really official. If you use regular copy paper and an ink jet, then you will get an okay job.


Q: Is BIU affilated to any religious organizations?

A: Many of our professors in the theology department are memebers of The Church of the Later Day Dude considering many of them are beach dwellers, they are really into the ideas of the Dude. In fact, Dr. Berkley was recently ordained there.


Q: Who does this college stay open if it takes no money?

A: Dr. Berkley is a great man. He is known for his skills at the poker and craps tables. In fact, he is banned from most casinos in Las Vegas. Because of this, anytime the school needs money, he just plays a few hands and the money is there. Along with this, as the Good Books says, 'God helps those who help themselves'.
